29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: (Construction Reference 1926.103) (a) On or about 2/28/18, laborers employed by Construction Resources Corp. at 605 E 2nd Street were exposed to respiratory hazards because the employer had not implemented a respiratory protection program where employees were required to wear tight-fitting, elastomeric, half-face respirators to control silica exposure. Employees dry swept floors with Green Dust compound. Procedures for effective use of respirators including but not limited to fit testing and medical evaluation for required use were not in place.
