29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a. On or about February 28th, 2018 at the above addressed job site, employees were exposed to cuts and lacerations from flying chips while working with a HOWA SANGYO L-200 32160 lathe without guarding.  b. On or about February 28th, 2018 at the above addressed job site, employees were exposed to cuts and lacerations from flying chips while working with a Nardini-ND 1785 E lathe without guarding.  c. On or about February 28th, 2018 at the above addressed job site, employees were exposed to cuts and lacerations from flying chips while working with a Sure Line Co. lathe without guarding.

On or about February 28th, 2018 at the above addressed job site, employees working in the production area were exposed to fire hazards from oxygen tank stored next to acetylene tank while not in use.
