OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards. a) 1168 Naamans Creek Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060, Plant #4, House #7 & #8 Stairway - The employer did not provide stair rails and handrail on the stairway, which had ten risers, from the ground floor to the second level, which was approximately 6.5 feet above the lower level, thus exposing employees to fall hazards. This condition was noted on or about February 28, 2018. Abatement note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be to install stair rails and handrail on the stairway.
