29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about March 6, 2018, on the south west of the construction site, employees were using an electric Makita saw with the extension power cord that had the outer sheathing pulled away from the strain relief device exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
