29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: This violation was observed on or about March 6, 2018, in the saw shop, the horizontal band saws did not have the unused portion of the saw blade adequately guarded exposing employees to being struck by the blade. AUTO-TURN MANUFACTURING, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 944307, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON DECEMBER 13, 2013 WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF DECEMBER 13, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE HAZARD AT 9800 S. 219th E. AVE, BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA.
