29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. a) East Stair Tower Set: On or about March 6, 2018, and at times prior, workers were exposed to a fall hazard in that the walkway between two stair tower platforms 22 feet above ground level was fitted with guardrail that was 1.5 inches lower than the minimum required height of 38 inches. Abatement Note: Employer completed abatement on site during the inspection.
