29 CFR 1910.178(l)(4)(i): Refresher training including an evaluation of the effectiveness of the training, shall be conducted as required by paragraph (l)(4)(ii) to ensure that the operator has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the powered industrial truck safely. a) Aldi, Inc. at 1020 Commerce Avenue, Union, NJ site - Warehouse: Employer failed to provide refresher training including an evaluation of the effectiveness of the provided training to ensure that the operator has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the electric pallet jacks at the worksite. An employee who was involved in an incident returned to work 4/26/18 and used the electric pallet jacks without being retrained. Retraining was provided to the employee 5/16/18. Condition noted on or about 05/15/2018.
