29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). On March 14, 2018, at a residential construction site located at 887 W. 135th Street, Kansas City, MO 64145. Employees were exposed to cave-in hazards. Employees were working in a trench that was approximately 5.3 to 6.7 feet in depth without the use of any protective systems.
