29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):   It shall be the responsibility of the employer to initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with incident prevention; such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers.  On or about March 21, 2018 in a hotel at 150 S Nicolet Road in Appleton, the employer did not ensure that a competent person was performing frequent and regular inspections that could have recognized the electrical hazards associated with employees using lighting suspended from fixture wires without bulb protection, light switches and outlet receptacles without plate covers installed, and working around open light socket.

29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(E): All lamps for general illumination shall be protected from accidental contact or breakage. Metal-case sockets shall be grounded.  On or about March 21, 2018 in a hotel at 150 S Nicolet Road in Appleton, employees performing renovation job tasks were walking/working in the corridors using lighting with unprotected bulbs.
