When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. a) Gayston Corporation, located at in Miamisburg, Ohio: On or about March 26, 2018 the employer did not maintain in a clean and dry condition the floor of the mulching building. Employees working within the mulching building were exposed to a slip hazard from approximately 60 square feet of standing water.

29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): (1) Walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition; a) Gayston Corporation, located at in Miamisburg, Ohio: On or about March 26, 2018 the employer did not maintain in a safe condition the floor of the main production building. Employees working in the oven department of the main production building were exposed to a tripping hazard from approximately 88 square foot of damaged flooring. b) Gayston Corporation, located at in Miamisburg, Ohio: On or about March 26, 2018 the employer did not maintain in a safe condition the floor of the main production building. Employees working in the isle way near the cutoff saw were exposed to a tripping hazard from approximately 10 square foot of damaged flooring.
