29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy: On September 7, 2018, and on dates prior, the employer's energy control procedures for the Madison Post Office stations did not specifically outline steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking, and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy that were specific to the machines and/or equipment at each postal station. The list of machines and/or equipment includes, but is not limited to: a) Overhead door openers b) Powered dock levelers c) Furnaces and air conditioning units
