29 CFR 1910.95(i)(3):  Employees were not given the opportunity to select their hearing protectors from a variety of suitable hearing protectors provided by the employer:  a) Workplace, 52 Green Pond Road, Rockaway, NJ  An employee working on the line at the M-7 plastic injection molding machine was exposed to continuous noise levels at 73.0 %  of the Permissible Exposure Limit (8 hour Time Weighted Average sound level of 90 dBA) which is 0.73 times the allowable exposure limit.   The action level for the employee who works 11.5 hours, is  84.38  dBA.  The equivalent sound level of the measured dose is 87.7 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 485 minutes on 3/23/18.  Workers were only provided with one type of hearing protectors.  Violation occurred on or about 3-23-18
