29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(iii): With respect to the tasks listed in 29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(iii)(A) and (B), where lead was present, until the employer performed an exposure assessment as required in 29 CFR 1926.62(d), and documented that the employee performing the listed tasks was not exposed in excess of 500 micrograms per meter cubed, the employer did not treat the employee as if the employee was exposed to lead in excess of 500 micrograms per meter cubed and did not implement employee protective measures as prescribed in 29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(v): Location: Crestview Water Tower, Washington, MO The employer did not perform an exposure assessment to determine if lead exposures were below 500 micrograms per meter cubed for the worker performing power-tool cleaning (grinding) on the water tower and did not implement appropriate employee protective measures as required.
