The employer must ensure:    29 CFR 1910.26(a): Dockboards are capable of supporting the maximum intended load in accordance with �1910.22(b);     a. On or about March 29, 2018, at the loading dock, a piece of plywood was used to span a gap between the loading platform and the transport vehicle when loading and unloading.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.       a. On or about March 29, 2018, at the forklift battery charging area where employees may be exposed to battery electrolyte, a corrosive material, while charging the forklift battery, there was no suitable facilities for flushing of the eyes within the work area for immediate emergency use.  An eye wash station was located on the opposite side of the warehouse with obstructed access.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Space about electric equipment. Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.   a. On or about March 29, 2018, located on the West wall of the warehouse, an electrical panel that was used to supply power to the Western half of the facility did not have sufficient working space due to the forklift battery charging apparatus, a fan, and stored plywood obstructing access to the panel which did not allow for ready and safe operation of the electrical equipment.     b. On or about March 29, 2018, located on the East wall of the warehouse, an electrical panel that was used to supply power to the Eastern half of the facility did not have sufficient working space due to cleaning supplies, boxes, and miscellaneous equipment obstructing access to the panel which did not allow for ready and safe operation of the electrical equipment.

On or about March 29, 2018, on the East side of the warehouse, a flexible cord was used as a substitute for fixed wiring to supply power to the service desk, thereby exposing the employees to electrical shock and fire hazards.
