29 CFR 1910.29(a)(2): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings on all open sides. a) Montgomery St Railyard, Binghamton, NY, On or about 3/29/18: Drivers on top of the truck mounted sand storage box are exposed to falling 9 feet 4 inches into the empty container when they open the top filling door. b) Montgomery St Railyard, Binghamton, NY, On or about 3/29/18: Drivers on top of the truck mounted sand storage container are exposed to falling nearly 11 feet 4 inches to the ground when they lift the protective guardrail to gain access to the top filling door to close or open it.
