On or about 4/3/18 at the job site located at 1720 Gause Blvd., Slidell, LA; the employer allowed employees to enter and work in a 7.5' deep by 10' wide by 24' long unprotected trench, and an employee was observed sandwiched between the frame of the canopy footing and the left vertical trench wall; thus exposing the employee to cave-in crushing hazards.
