29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a) On or about 27 March, 2018 at 2826 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees installing C-channel on the roof of a five story building were protected from falls to the ground of 67 feet as they were flying the C-channel's in and providing signals to the crane operator while between 1-6 feet from the edge.
