29 CFR 1926.502(b)(2): Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, or equivalent intermediate structure members were not installed between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working surface when there was no wall or parapet wall at least 21 inches (53 cm) high. Construction site: On or about April 2, 2018, and at times prior, at 1889 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville GA 30049: a) the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet to 30-feet to the dirt below when no midrails were installed at the window opening at the second floor. b) the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 9-feet to the concrete below when no midrails were installed at the wall opening on the first floor basement.
