29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(i): Places of employment were not kept clean to the extent that the nature of the work allowed:   a) Facility, where a housekeeping schedule had not been implemented in areas including:  1. Weapons Vault, where the surface of the gun cleaning counter top, the handle on the dummy rounds drawer, the handle on the vault door, and the top drawer handle on the Gladiator tool chest was contaminated with lead and a housekeeping schedule was not in place to ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead.   2. Room 1374 ITA Workroom, a housekeeping schedule was not in place to ensure all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead where employees utilized MG Chemicals Leaded Solder Wire.

29 CFR 1910.141(a)(4)(ii): All sweepings, solid or liquid wastes, refuse, and garbage were not removed in such a manner as to avoid creating a menace to health and as often as necessary or appropriate to maintain the place of employment in a sanitary condition:   a) The Weapons Vault, where cotton and/or paper towels impregnated with flammable solvents including, but not limited to, Shooters Choice MC #7 Bore Cleaner, were disposed of in uncovered plastic trash cans that were not emptied on a daily basis.   Abatement Note:  Provide metal waste cans designed for disposal of flammable materials.

Room 1414, where the relocatable power tap was used to supply power to appliances including the Hamilton Beach water kettle and the Black and Decker drip coffee pot. (Item Corrected)  3. EM Secretaries Cubicles, where three relocatable power taps were daisy chained and used to supply power to computer equipment and a fan.  4. Room 1149, where the relocatable power tap was used to supply power to appliances including the Keurig coffee maker and the Artic King refrigerator.  5. Room 1144, where the relocatable power tap was used to supply power to appliances including the Honeywell fan.   6. Room 923 Break Area, where the relocatable power tap was used to supply power to appliances including the Keurig coffee maker and GE microwave oven, and daisy chained with the black extension cord that was used to supply power to the Oster toaster.  7. Floor 8, 3rd Row Cubicle near the entrance, where the relocatable power tap was used to supply power to appliances including Igloo refrigerator.   8. Fusion Center Break Room, where the relocatable power tap was daisy chained with the green extension cord and used to supply power to appliances including the Haier refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, Sharp Carousel microwave oven, and the Oster Toaster oven.    9. Records and Inventory, where the relocatable power tap was used to supply power to appliances including GE refrigerator and the Sharp microwave oven. (Item Corrected)  The Federal Bureau of Investigation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1210564, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 3, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Tacoma, WA.
