29 CFR 1960.8(a): The head of each agency shall furnish to each employee employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm: a) On April 4, 2018, and at times prior, employees are exposed to struck by hazards from low hanging lights in the operating room. b) On April 4, 2018, and at times prior, employees are exposed to struck by hazards from inward swinging doors that come into contact with anesthesia equipment in the operating room.
