29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard that the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area. Information and training was not designed to cover all applicable categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals: a) Assembling department - On or about 4/5/2018, employees were exposed to skin and eye irritation hazards in that the employer failed to provide information and training specific to the hazards of chemicals employees were working with chemicals such as, but not limited to, Antifreeze/Coolant solutions during assembly operations at the workplace .
