29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): All respirators shall be stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals, and they shall be packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve.   a)  On or about April 3, 2018 a North half face air purifying respirator  that was found in the work area of the maintenance shop where it may come into contact with dirt and other contamination from work practices such as but not limited to welding activities.    b)  On or about April 3, 2018 a North half face air purifying respirator , not sealed within storage container, had been left on top of work project on a workbench in the Metal bending and Tin shop located in the power house and was exposed to contaminates from materials used in the workarea.
