29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to their work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a) Throughout Establishment - On or about 4/10/18, employees who work and perform maintenance activities in the apartments throughout the facility were not informed of the presence, location, and quantity of ACM and/or PACM. The white acoustical plaster (popcorn ceilings) and sheet vinyl mastic were found to be asbestos containing materials.
