OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while wrapping a root ball of a palm tree that was being suspended by a telehandler: On or about April 11, 2018, at the intersection of Coral Way & SW 26th Street, the employer did not ensure employees were not exposed to struck-by hazards by allowing them to be underneath the telehandler's boom during the wrapping of a root ball of a palm tree. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
