OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a) SRM (Crane) #6, section 901/902 of the Cold Store SRM operation area: On April 17, 2018 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards associated with prolonged exposure to cold after a slip, trip, fall or other accident resulting in injury, in that employees working alone are not protected by a personnel alarm system (also known as a Lone Worker Protection System) as required by the Vectura 22 Storage and Retrieval Machine (SRM) Operators Manual.
