29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level: a) On or about April 20, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 14 feet while working from a scaffolding platform without a guardrail system or other fall protection. b) On or about April 20, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 16 feet while working from a scaffolding platform without a guardrail system or other fall protection. Marcin Pelic dba Marcin Pelic Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1225384, citation 1, item 3, and was affirmed as a final order on May 3, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at 333 Willow, Winnetka, Illinois. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
