29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Receiving dock in front of manager's office: The exit door leading from the inside of the meat cooler was blocked on the outside by pallet of cardboard, on or about 4/23/18. b) North corner of shipping dock: The exit route leading from the warehouse to an exit door was blocked by a pallet of cardboard and a cart reducing the opening to 17 inches, on or about 4/23/18. c) Meat Processing Area trim line: The exit route from the trim line was blocked by a moveable cart and a pallet of meat, on or about 5/15/18. d) Organic Grind Room east side packaging line: The exit route from the packaging line between the conveyor and pack line was blocked by a cart used to stack molded pieces of meat, on or about 5/15/18. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
