29 CFR 1910.134(e)(6): 29 CFR 1910.134(e)(6): In determining the employee's ability to use a respirator, the employer shall obtain a written recommendation regarding the employee's ability to use the respirator from the PLHCP (physician or other licensed health care professional): a) At the polishing coil line, on or about May 10, 2018 - An employee was not provided a medical evaluation prior to voluntarily wearing a respirator. An employee wears a Safety Works half-mask respirator during welding operations.
