29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: a) Short Belt Slitter - An employee working on the short belt slitting machine was exposed to point of operation hazards from an unguarded cutting head, on or about April 25th. b) Long Belt Slitter - An employee working on the long belt slitting machine was exposed to point of operation hazards from an unguarded cutting head, on or about April 25th. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
