The stairs leading to the Bevel End Facer had deposits of grease, water and oils of approximately .5 inches, exposing employees to trip hazards.

Compressed gas cylinder(s) in use were not properly supported to prevent them from being knocked over: a) The employer does not ensure compressed gas cylinders are properly secured. This violation was most recently observed on January 4th, 2018, inside of the South end of the Shears Department, where an oxygen cylinder was not secured. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards.
