29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) On or about May 1, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 9 feet while performing roofing work from a pitched roof without the benefit of fall protection. IRA Construction and Development, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1047449, citation 2, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 23, 2015, with respect to a worksite located at 702 Marion Ave., Highland Park, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
