29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)    a- 413 Church Street, Moorestown NJ: Company worksite workers were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 21 feet to the ground surface below when performing roofing and other related activities while working/walking from a pitched roof of a residential structure without the use of fall protection. During each of these activities these workers were not using any fall protection.  Through interviews of these workers, it was determined that they had not received training regarding the identification, elimination, etc. of fall hazards from a competent person.  This condition was noted on or about 05/01/18.      NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
