29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) On or about April 26, 2018 at 305 Equipment Court, Building A in Lawrenceville, Georgia; employees were exposed to chemical hazards associated with the use of "USG Sheetrock Brand" Ultra Lightweight Joint Compound and compressed gases including, but not limited to, acetylene where the employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET)

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): (Construction Reference: 1926.59) On or about April 26, 2018 at 305 Equipment Court, Building A in Lawrenceville, Georgia; employees were exposed to chemical hazards associated with the use of "USG Sheetrock Brand" Ultra Lightweight Joint Compound and compressed gases including, but not limited to, acetylene where the employer did not maintain safety data sheets for these chemicals.
