29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  (a) Roehm Stucco, LLC. at 1534 Poplar Dr, Grand Junction, CO: On and around May 3, 2018, the exposing employer did not ensure employees were provided and wore protective helmets, when employees could potentially be struck by falling objects during scaffold assembly. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  (a) Roehm Stucco, Inc. at 1534 Poplar Dr, Grand Junction, CO: On and around May 3, 2018, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were provided eye protection when pneumatic staplers were used for interior stucco operations at an apartment construction project. This condition exposed employee's eyes to struck-by hazards from staples.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  (a) Roehm Stucco, Inc. at 1534 Poplar Dr,. Grand Junction, CO: On and around May 3, 2018, the exposing employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at the workplace at a site specific written hazard communication program. While conducting stucco work, employees were potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to the following:   1) Quikrete C5 Portland Cement Based Concrete Products 2) El Rey Lastic Finishes Cement Coating   Note: The requirements applicable to the construction standard under this section are identical to other set forth in 29 CFR 1926.59.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s):  (a) Roehm Stucco, Inc. at 1534 Poplar Dr., Grand Junction, CO: On and around May 3, 2018, the exposing employer did not ensure that safety data sheets were maintained and made accessible to employees for each hazardous chemical in the workplace, including, but not limited to, Quikrete C5 Portland Cement Based Concrete Products and EL Rey Lastic Finishes Cement Coating. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.   Note: The requirements applicable to the construction standard under this section are identical to other set forth in 29 CFR 1926.59.

Employees did not know the hazards of the chemicals in their work areas.
