29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):             a) On or about May 10, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 30 feet to the exterior of the building while performing carpentry work from the top of exterior walls.    b) On or about May 10, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 11 feet to the interior of the building while performing carpentry work from the top of floor joists.    c) On or about May 10, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 20 feet to the exterior of the building where fall protection was not provided at window openings throughout the work area.    d) On or about May 10, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 20 feet to the interior of the building where fall protection was not provided at wall openings throughout the work area.    e) On or about May 10, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 10 feet to the interior of the building where fall protection was not provided at a deck opening adjacent to the stairway.    f) On or about May 10, 2018, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 20 feet to the exterior of the building where fall protection was not provided at balcony openings.    No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:           a) On or about May 10, 2018, the employer did not provide training to enable employees to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed to eliminate or control such hazards at the worksite.           In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
