At the worksite - On or about May 9, 2018, an employee operated a pneumatic nail gun without the use of eye protection, thus exposing the employee to a struck-by hazard.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b).    a). At the worksite - On or about May 9, 2018, employees worked from the roof while installing hardie board siding onto a gable without the use of a fall protection system, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9.7 feet.

At the worksite - On or about May 9, 2018, the employer did not provide fall protection training to employees that worked from a roof while installing hardie board siding onto a gable, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9.7 feet.
