29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support).   For the employees using the extension ladder to access the roof on or about May 10, 2018 and times prior there to, the employer did not set the ladder at an angle of approximately 75 1/2 degrees from horizontal or one foot horizontal for every four feet vertical.
