29 CFR 1926.652(b)(2): Maximum allowable slopes, and allowable configurations for sloping and benching systems, was not determined in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in Appendices A and B to this subpart: (a) United Companies at 3893 Bighorn Road Vail, CO 81657: On or before 5/14/18 the controlling and correcting employer did not protect employees and subcontractor employees from injury in that the slope of the excavation sidewalls exceeded 45 degrees. This condition exposed employees and subcontractor employees to engulfment and crushing hazards.
