29 CFR 1926.652(b)(2): Maximum allowable slopes, and allowable configurations for sloping and benching systems, was not determined in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in Appendices A and B to this subpart. (a) Great Divide Construction, Inc at 3893 Bighorn Road Vail, CO 81657: On or before 5/14/18 the exposing employer did not protect employees from injury in that sloping and benching systems were not in accordance with the requirements of the standard. The slope of the excavation walls were greater than 45 degrees. This condition exposed employees to engulfment and crushing hazards.
