29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: (a) Toll Brothers Inc. located at 6181 Eagle Roost Drive, Fort Collins, Co 80524: The employer did not ensure that stairways having four or more risers were equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge. Employees engaged in residential construction used the stairs located in the garage to access the interior of the home. The temporary staircase in the garage had 6 risers and both side were not protected by a stairrail. This exposed employees to falls from height.
