OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by lightning while picking cucumbers from the farm the field during inclement weather: On or about May 16, 2018, at Block 61 and Block 62 farm field, employees were exposed to an electrocution (lightning strike) hazard while picking cucumbers from the farm beds during inclement weather. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
