29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a) On or about May 07, 2018, and at times prior, Cruz Siding and Remodelations, as the exposing employer, removed the guard rail system at a height of 15 feet which resulted in an employee falling from the unprotected second story stairwell platform and being hospitalized. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
