29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d): (a) Casing/Paste Floor: On June 7, 2018, an employee working on the casing floor was exposed to the respirable fraction of particulates not otherwise regulated (PNOR) at an 8 hour Time Weighted Average 6.66 milligrams per cubic meter of air for the 467 minute sampling period. The employer has not implemented all feasible engineering or administrative controls to achieve compliance with the permissible exposure limit of 5.0 milligrams per cubic meter of air for the respirable fraction of particulates not otherwise regulated as prescribed by this section. (b) Casing/Paste Floor: On June 7, 2018, an employee working on the casing floor was exposed to the respirable fraction of crystalline silica quartz at an 8 hour Time Weighted Average 3.97 milligrams per cubic meter of air for the 467 minute sampling period. The employer has not implemented all feasible engineering or administrative controls to achieve compliance with the permissible exposure limit of 3.03 milligrams per cubic meter of air for the respirable fraction of crystalline silica quartz as prescribed by this section.
