29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). Location: 23 Alyea St, Newark, NJ. a) Employer allowed his employee, whom did not have a harness; to work and/or walk on a flat roof that did not have a guardrail system at the unprotected edges thereby exposing the employee to a potential fall of approximately 20 feet to the concrete floor below. The employee was handling a compressor hose at the edge of the flat roof; on or about 6/1/18. The P&G Barb, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1065207, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/19/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 75 Rockwood, Florham Park, NJ 07932.
