29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Corporate Office Main Entrance - The second floor landing did not have a guardrail system installed along a 45-inch long section next to the elevator and along a 52-3/4-inch long section leading to the top of the stairway, and employees did not use any other fall protection system, exposing employees to the hazard of falling 13 feet 7 inches to the floor below, on or about June 7, 2018. 29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge: (a) Corporate Office Main Entrance - The stairs from the second floor landing down to the intermediate landing (i.e., the landing between the first and second floor) did not have a stair rail along the unprotected right side going down, exposing employees to the hazard of falling up to 13 feet 7 inches to the floor below, on or about June 7, 2018. Corrected during the inspection
