29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) On or about June 08, 2018, at the above referenced inspection site, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were not protected from fall hazards. The employer failed to ensure employees wore Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS), or deployed other means of protection. Employees were thereby exposed to injury from falls of approximately 9 feet. There is no abatement certification of documentation required for this item.
