29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a)  Eco Blue Line Construction LLC at 1350 Speer Blvd, Denver, CO 80204: On or before 06-08-18, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  An employee was drilling holes into the side wall while working on an elevated deck on the 4th floor of the east side of the facility without the use of fall protection.  No guardrails or personal fall arrest system was in use.  This condition exposed the employee to fall hazards of approximately 40 feet.
