29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about June 8, 2018 at the work location of 3735 Turtle Creek Road, Perrysburg, OH: The employer did not ensure employees tasked with installing insulation in a residential home were protected from fall hazards. Employees accessing a second floor walkway were exposed to a 10 ft. fall to the first floor. An employee fell from the walkway and sustained serious injuries while moving a beam.
