OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees    a. On or about June 8, 2018, an employee was operating a SCAG Power Equipment Turf Tiger zero-turn lawn mower near a pond when the mower tipped over into the pond and pinned the employee below. The employer did not have any rules in place for operating the mower on sloped ground or during wet conditions. The mower was manufactured with a rollover protection system, but the system had become damaged and was no longer in place.
