29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: On or about June 13, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, the portable ladder used to access the roof of the garage did not extend at least three (3') feet above the upper landing surface, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 9.6 feet. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
